~ Festival Art ~
Look for the Festival Art to appear on a variety of items including a tee, chef hat, appetizer plate, oven mitt, ornament, stemware, mugs, oil and vinegar bottles and more.
~ Chef Art ~
“This year’s artwork is based on artwork created by Walt Disney Imagineering that you will see throughout the event,” explains Disney Design Group artist, Randy Noble. “The art has a humorous point of view, which is different from the imagery found in the previous year’s events. For this whimsical image, I used pastel colors to create a softer look for the overall image. If you look carefully, you will spot Remy from Disney•Pixar’s ‘Ratatouille’ in the top of the chef’s hat.”
Look for this chef artwork on items such as a coffee mug, apron, pot holder, banner, reusable tote bag and more. In addition, be sure to check out this year’s cookbook featuring this special chef artwork on the front cover and loaded with delectable dishes and recipes inside. Randy Noble will on hand for special appearances and signings at the Festival Center throughout the 2013 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. See Special Appearance Scheduled below.
The bumbling chef named Chauncy also inspired a new item for the festival this year – a seven-inch bobble figurine of the chef, sculpted by artist Robert King.
~ Character Chef Art ~
Look for a special art program featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy as chefs. The character artwork was created by Disney Design Group artist Brian Blackmore, with digital rendering done by artist Dan Salgo. The logo will appear on youth and adult tees. Also keep an eye out for a special Chef Mickey headband.
Other characters returning this year is a 12-inch Duffy the Disney Bear dressed in a new chef outfit, as well as an assortment of pins featuring some of Disney’s most beloved characters.
