Born into a family of artists and designers, Miss Mindy’s ‘Cartoon Folk’ art ranges from fluid ink drawings and paintings, to shadow boxes and dioramas, to most recently, sculpture, toy making and customization of vintage objects.
As a Principal Concept and Show Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Larry Nikolai has helped to create attractions for Disney parks all around the world. With a background as both a classically trained fine artist and an animation designer, his goal is to bring a unique pose and dramatic touch to the composition of every character portrait he paints.
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Noah grew up to be one of the most well know artists in the country and around the globe. He began his first company on his bike at sixteen handing out business cards to create art, signs and illustrations for local businesses. Noah spends his time creating lines of product for cruise ships, galleries, his clothing line and private commissions for collectors.
A Senior Artist with the Disney Design Group, Randy Noble works on the special event and pin teams, producing art for various projects. In the fall of 1998, Randy began his new career as a Senior Artist with Disney Design Group, and works on the special event and pin teams producing art for everything from Star Wars Weekends to managing the creative development on the World of Disney store in New York. “I’m reminded every day as I drive onto Disney property what a great job I have, and how lucky I’ve been in my career.”
Winning multiple awards with a retrospective of his work mounted in various museums, Robert Olszewski owner of Olszewski studios, developed a natural interest in art at an early age. Robert Olszewski was born in 1945 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. In 1993, a thirty-year museum retrospective of his work was mounted at the Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard, California, and in the same year Robert was named “International Collectible Artist of the Year.”
In 1995, Robert was commissioned by the Walt Disney Company to prototype miniatures for their Enchanted Places Program. Robert continued his close association with the Walt Disney Company as he was commissioned to design and create the commemorative gift to be associated with the opening of Disney/Pixar’s A Bug’s Life, in 1998. Robert and Olszewski Studios have since completed Cinderella’s Castle for the Magic Kingdom® in Orlando, Florida and have begun work on the Main Street, U.S.A. for the Magic Kingdom® in Orlando, Florida as well.
Beginning with her national debut at age 3 on The Andy Williams Show, Marie has proven to be a resilient talent with a magnetic presence known across generations. David Pacheco, a Disney artist/animator for over 25 years, is a key member of the creative team at Disney Consumer Products, lending his talents and expertise to several categories including Disney art and collectibles. His considerable knowledge of Disney animation has been utilized throughout the development process of the award-winning Walt Disney Classics Collection to help translate beloved Disney characters from two-dimensional drawings into gallery quality three-dimensional porcelain sculptures.
